Conveyancing fees
Shire Legal understands that conveyancing can be a stressful time for clients ...

Therefore it offers competitive fixed fee conveyancing rates - with no hidden charges or expenses arising unexpectedly at the end of the matter.  With a fixed fee, the client knows up front what costs will be involved.

The fee is the same, irrespective of the value of the property you are buying or selling.

If you are selling, the fee includes the cost of all certificates you are required by law to attach to the Contract, including those relating to encumbrances on the title (such as a right of way or easement for drainage).

If you are buying, the fee includes the usual enquiries with government departments to confirm council and water rates, as well as land tax liability, and whether there are any outstanding notices with the local Council.  Additional enquiries are available at extra cost.

  • All clients receive a full Costs Disclosure Statement and a Costs Agreement as required under the Legal Profession Act 2004.
  • We have full professional indemnity insurance for conveyancing work.
  • We also have indemnity insurance for legal work associated with your conveyancing.
  • We operate a fully audited trust account for your protection.
  • We have fidelity insurance to protect you from misappropriation of funds.
